The Audio Upgrades PIP or plug in preamp module. It's 1" square and plugs directly into 8 pin dip sockets. It's intended to replace the common that1510/ssm2017/ssm2019/INA217 mic pre chips.

It's a hybrid design with 21 components mounted. It's a 3000 v/us slew rate, .0006% THD, .0002% IMD, -129.6 db EIN, unweighted. It draws 9 ma idle current. It will output 100 ma.


This has been installed into Toft 8TB consoles with great results. It will also retrofit the Trident S-20, the DAV preamps, D+R and Amek consoles.
